In 2009 FAS Serramenti obtained the important FSC-COC (Forest Stewardship Council).The FSC-COC label identifies and emphasizes the quality of our wooden window, made with raw materials from certified forests or managed in a responsible manner in accordance with strict environmental, social and economic standards. Our production company now enables, upon client’s request, to propose innovative solutions in full compliance with environment as FSC-COC FAS windows marked guarantees; that all windows derived from certified forests.
The material carefully selected at the origin and a hand-made working guarantees our loyal customers, enabling FAS to implement the quality system inside the company. The Fas windows are today synonymous of quality, with special attention to environmental protection, respect for nature and energy saving. Obtaining the FSC-COC certificate is for FAS very important goal, resulting from the know how acquired by FAS in over 50 years of experience.

The CE marking is a attestation of conformity to low requirements. With the affixing of CE label the FAS ensures the conformity, of each produced window, to the sample tested in the laboratory and the adoption of the quality production control plain. FAS windows comply with the requirements foreseen by UNI EN
14351-1:2006 standard identifying which defining its performance features.

Fas has chosen to join the system of quality management organization in accordance with the international standard UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 and got the conformity certificate for the following activities: design, production, marketing, installation and after-sales service of wooden doors and windows. This standard defines the guidelines within the organization, aimed at achieving two goals: customer satisfaction and continual improvement of processes. This standard involves a system of internal audit data collection on noncompliance data collection analysis and initiation of specific corrective actions. ICILA, an impartial certification body supervises the proper implementation of the adopted quality system and controlled by Accredia, an institution that accredits national certification bodies.
 

Fas Serramenti is a member of the LegnoLegno Consortium, a cooperative society, a whose aim is to contribute to their development and qualification of fabricators companies. The Consortium has a technological laboratory for fabricators and a business training center, through which it developes services
are aiming at increasing efficiency, productivity and image of the member companies.
